In a world with increasingly cheap, abundant and accessible fast foods, ready-made meals and restaurant deliveries, many millenials don’t learn how to cook. To many, the process seems expensive, complicated, time-consuming and daunting. For my senior thesis, I created a special edition publication which rids readers of these misconceptions by breaking-down the essentials of cooking in a simple, approachable and visual way.
I created a process blog during the production of the magazine, to track its progress.

Upon the completion of the project, Simple Kitchen was turned into a 5 day exhibition, allowing viewers to interact with the cookbook in an environment that reflected the book’s simplicity and aesthetic.
